• Nine teams will compete for 2014 Wick & District Summer Pool League in a league format, with the top four teams qualifying for the semi final play-offs.  All league games are 10 frames (4 singles, 2 doubles, and 4 more singles) and you get 3 points for a win & 1 point for a 5-5 draw.

  • There will be a player of the season award at the end of the season, so if your team wants their players to be in the running for this you MUST hand in your score card to the Camps Bar by 1pm on the Tuesday.  Alternatively you can take a photo of your completed score card & email it to r-carter@live.com but it must be sent by 1pm the next day.  It is the responsibility of both home & away teams to get these in on time, as failure to do so will cost both teams player of the season points.

  • In the semi finals 1st place will play 4th and 2nd place will play 3rd at neutral venues in a best of 15 match.  8 singles (2 per player) 2 doubles & 4 singles, if the match is tied at 7-7 then one singles frame will decide the winner (captains choice).

  • No transfers are allowed in the Summer Pool League.  Once a player plays for one team, that is the only team he can play for, for the remainder of the season.

  • The Wick & District Summer Pool League is not related to the Wick & District Pool League in any way.  This is something i (Ryan Carter) set up in 2012 for players who wish to play pool in the summer.  Anyone who is found to be breaking the rules, or harassing either myself or other players will be banned & will not be invited to play in the summer league again.
