Bobby Gunn's Retro1 side remain undefeated and sit top of the Wick & District Summer Pool League after an impressive 6-4 victory over current holders Queens Hotel. Andrew Edwards was the star player for Retro1, winning all three of his games to help his side secure the three points against a strong Queens team. The Commercial won their first game of the season on Monday night, as they defeated the Francis Street Club 7-3. George Zindilis and Willie Bain played a key part in the Lybster sides victory as both players won all of their games. Greg Simpson's Sinclair Bay side went 3-0 down to Camps Bar "1" but showed great team spirit to win seven frames in a row to win all three points. Camps Bar "2" secured a hard fought derby win last week, defeating their Camps Bar rivals 6-4 in very close match. Ryan Carter's side now sit in second place after being handed a victory this week as Retro2 could not field a team. The top two sides (Retro1 and Camps2) face each other next week in an important game for both sides.
