Retro "1" remain undefeated in the 2014 Wick & District Summer Pool League after sealing a 7-3 win against the Francis Street Club on Monday Night.  Bobby Gunn was the star player, winning all three of his games to help his Retro side climb up to second place in the table.  Camps Bar "1" remain on top as their 6-4 away win against the Commercial secured them their third straight victory.  The Lybster side played well in the early stages of the match, and would take a 3-1 lead after the first set of singles.  The Camps team showed great character as they won four of the next five frames to go within one frame of victory at 5-4.  Mark Alexander got the better of Angus Mackay in the last singles games to seal the three points for Camps "1".  Shane Honeyman won all three of his games this week, and remains undefeated in singles play.  The Queens Hotel were back in action this week and were once again in no mood for messing about, as they clinched an 8-2 win against a tough Sinclair Bay side.  Perry Campbell and Tam Sutherland played a key part in their sides victory, winning all three of their games.  Jordan Tait and Gavin Simpson won the Keiss sides only two frames.
The big match next week see's two undefeated sides face off, as Suzanne Carter's Camps "1" side go up against Ryan Carter's Camps "2" team in an important derby match.
