Suzanne Carter's Camps Bar "1" side defeated the Francis Street Club 8-2 on Monday night to go top of the Wick & District Summer Pool League.  Shane Honeyman's fantastic break & clearance in the opening frame got the Camps Bar team off to a perfect start, and they would win five of the next six frames to secure a well deserved three points.  Mark Alexander, Dave Mcgillivray and Honeyman were all in great form again this week, with all three players yet to lose a singles game so far this season.  Bobby Gunn's Retro1 side were impressive this week as they cruised to an 8-2 derby win against Retro "2".  A great team performance saw them quickly win the three points as they raced into a 6-1 lead, which see's them climb up to third in the league table.  Andy Bunn's Mountain Dew side played well to take a 3-1 lead against Sinclair Bay Hotel, but the Keiss side battled back to win the match 6-4 with Greg Simpson winning the all important frame.  The Commercial got their season off to a good start as they earned a point against Camps Bar "2" in a very close match.  Kevin Cameron played some good pool to win both of his singles games to help the Lybster side go 5-3 ahead, but the experienced Camps Bar side dug deep to win the last two frames as the match ended in a 5-5 draw.  The Queens Hotel had a free week, but will be back in action next Monday with a home tie against Sinclair Bay.
