The Camps Bar hosted the second annual Children In Need pool tournament on Saturday, with David Hendry & Ryan Carter contesting the final once again. Hendry defeated Suzanne Carter, Shane Honeyman and Bruce Honeyman while Carter defeated Christopher Green, George Smith and Iain Jones on route to the final.
With Hendry beating Carter 3-2 in last years final, Carter was looking for revenge on his Camps2 team mate. Carter quickly went 2-0 ahead with two fine clearances, but Hendry hit back after tactically outplaying his opponent to draw level at 2-2.
The deciding frame lasted only a few minutes which saw Carter potting the black by accident, handing David Hendry victory and his 2nd title in a row.
