Ryan Carter stretched his lead at the top of the Camps Bar Pool Challenge leaderboard with another win last Saturday.  He defeated former Camps owner Des Mcleod 3-0 in the quarter finals & then his partner Suzanne Carter by the same scoreline in the semi's.  The other side of the draw saw Blackstairs1 team mates Perry Cambell & Tam Sutherland face each other in the quarter final.  Campbell racked up some nice clearances to beat Sutherland 3-0.  Shane Honeyman was on his usual good form as he took a 2-1 lead over George Smith, but Smith battled back to grab a 3-2 win.  Smith was out of luck in the semi's though as his opponent Campbell didnt miss a shot as he cruised to a 3-0 win.  Campbell was getting the better of Carter in the final as he took 2-1 then 3-2 leads.  Carter knocked in an 8-ball clearance to level the match at 3-3 taking it to a decider.  Campbells only mistake of the tournament was costly as he gave away two shots to Carter who then took full advantage to win the match 4-3.  Carter has now won 8 out of 11 events this year.
