Camps2 player Ryan Carter progressed through a tough field of players on Saturday to win Event 10 of The Camps Bar Pool Challenge.  He faced Blackstairs1 star Tam Sutherland (Who won the Bfest Pairs Championship last weekend with his partner Stuart Mckenzie) in the Quarters.  Sutherland produced two exceptional clearances to take a 2-0 lead.  Carter hit back with an 8ball total clearance & then went on to win the next two frames to win 3-2.  Carter produced some more nice clearances in the semi's as he saw off 2012 Captains Cup winner George Smith 3-1.  The other half of the draw saw Shane Honeyman dominate as he went past Suzanne Carter 3-0 and Silver Fox 3-1 to reach the final.  Carter was denied a nice clearance in the opening frame of the final as he missed a black to the middle, Honeyman ran through the balls well but rattled the black for what would have been an outstanding total clearance.  Carter took advantage and sunk the black & then went on to take the next two frames for a 3-0 lead.  Honeyman played a great frame to pull one back but lost out in the next as Carter cleared the table to win his seventh event out of 10.
