The top three teams in division one all recorded comfortable wins on Monday night, as the Wick & District Pool league reached its half-way point.  Bayview1 were impressive again this week and their 8-4 win over the Queens keeps them three points clear at the top of the league.  Camps2 remain in second place thanks to a 9-3 away win against Blackstairs.    Bruce Honeyman, David Hendry and Ryan Carter won all three of their games for the Camps side.  Alan Stewart and Eric Larnach were on top of their games on Monday night as they helped their Crown1 side defeat Seaforth Club 8-4.  Sinclair Bay and The Commercial were locked in an almighty battle in Keiss, as the match looked to be heading for a 6-6 draw.  The experienced Milky Ronaldson made the difference in the end as he helped secure all three points for Sinclair Bay.
Retro1 continue to dominate in division two, and remain top of the league after an 11-1 win over Harpers.  Crown2 stay in second place as they got the better of the Mountain Dew in a 7-5 win.  Camps1 came back from 4-2 down to win all six of their doubles games for an 8-4 win against the Francis Street Club.  Aidan Ross and Lesley Ann Begg played well in this match, which see's the Camps side move up two places to third.  Bayview2 player Donald Smith won all three of his games on Monday night, but it wasnt enough as they lost out 7-5 against Retro2.  The Wick & District Pool League now takes a break for Christmas and New Year, and will return on the 6th of January.
