Week 10 in the wick & district pool league saw the top 2 teams record comfortable victories.  League leaders Bayview1 coasted to a 9-2 win against Sinclair Bay, keeping them 2 points clear at the top.
Camps2 also made things look easy with an 8-3 win over a tough Commercial side. Camps' player Ian Mcdonald and The Comm's Lee Kerr were the outstanding players of the match, both recording total clearances.  The Bayview1 will face Camps2 on monday night in a top of the table clash with both teams looking for the advantage in the title race.
Blackstairs1 proved too strong for Camps1 beating them 8-3.  The other match in division1 saw an extremely tight match in which The Crown1 defeated Blackstairs2 6-5.  Colin Banks and Stevie Wylie won all of their matches, and Banks potted the winning black to clinch victory for his Crown1 side.
In Division 2, it was top of the league versus bottom as The Seaforth Club met Crown2. After racing into a 3-2 lead, it looked like The Crown side were going to cause an upset.  However, Greg Beveridge and Gary Macalpine combined perfectly in their doubles match to leave their opponents with 7 balls.  Taking inspiration from this, The Seaforth Club then went on to win 7-4 leaving the Crown side bottom of the league without a win.
The other matches in division 2 saw Mountain Dew1 defeat Sasa's Cellar Bar 8-3, and Bayview2 winning 6-5 against Mountain Dew2.
