Greg Simpson's Sinclair Bay side cruised through to the Quarter Finals of Wick & District Pool League's Rockwater Shield with an impressive 6-1 win over The Queens on Monday night.  A great team performance was key in this one sided affair.  Greg Thomson continued his good run of form for Sinclair Bay & nearly racked up another 8ball clearance but missed an awkward black to just miss out.  
Suzanne Carter's Camps "1" side produced another outstanding comeback on Monday night as they came back from 5-2 down to win 6-5 against The Mountain Dew.  Carter and Lesley Ann Begg were the star players of the match with Begg winning all of her games and Carter doubling the black in the deciding frame to clinch the win.  Camps "1" and Sinclair Bay will meet each other in the quarter finals.  George Zindilis' Commercial side enjoyed another impressive win this week, defeating Bayview "2" 6-1.  The two best performances went to Sammy Bain and Willie Bain, with the latter getting an 8ball total clearance.  Camps "2" got off to a great start against Crown "1" thanks to a total clearance from Ryan Carter.  The defending champions went on to win comfortably 6-2 and will now face Blackstairs "1" in the next round.  Seaforth Club and Bayview "1" were also victorious in their 2nd leg matches and will meet each other in the quarter finals.
