Craig Durrand's Seaforth Club side knocked Crown1 off top spot on Monday night, as they defeated them for the second time this season. George Smith got the club side off to a great start, winning his singles game against Colin Banks. Alan Stewart defeated Durrand in the next frame to level the match, before the Crown side took the next three frames to lead 4-1. Scott Risbridger pulled one back for Seaforth, which turned out to be the start of a remarkable comeback for them. They then won the next four frames in a row to record another impressive victory.
The Lybster derby turned out to be a very well contested match, but it was the more experienced Bayview1 team who got the 8-3 win over The Commercial.
The second divisions top two teams kept up their current form with both teams winning again. Sinclair Bay defeated Crown2 6-5, and The Queens were convincing in a 9-2 win over Harper's. Aidan Ross was the star player for Camps1 as they moved up to third in division two with a 7-4 win against Bayview2.
Arthur Bruce was impressive for Blackstairs2 as they went 5-3 ahead against Camps2. Alec Thompson produced an outstanding clearance to get the Camps side back into it, and Andy Mcwatt got an 8ball total clearance in the deciding frame to win the match 6-5 for Camps2.
