Queens1 handed Bayview their first defeat of the Summer Pool League season on Monday Night after a great team performance helped them to a 6-4 win.  The Lybster side took an early 3-0 lead before Andrew Coghill's fine play pulled one back for the Queens.  Strong performances in their doubles saw the Queens side draw level at 3-3, before Angus Mackay put Bayview back in front at 4-3.  James Dow, Adam Scollay and Danny Cormack all played well as the Queens took the next three frames to earn a well deserved victory.
The Commercial dropped a place down to second in the league after they lost out in a close match against Queens2.  Neither team could be separated in the early stages of the match, but good play from Willie Bain and George Zindilis helped their Lybster team take a 4-3 lead. Scott Risbridger and Perry Campbell played well to put Queens2 5-4 ahead, before Alan Stewart defeat Bain to win all three points for the Queens side.
Sinclair Bay continued their good form this season and clinched another three points after a hard fought 6-4 victory over Mountain Dew.
Defending champions Camps2 go top of the league after their third 10-0 whitewash of the season, this time it was the Francis Street Club who fell victim to the in-form champions.
