Lybster sides Bayview & The Commercial dropped their first points of the season on Monday night in the Wick & District Summer Pool League.  Bottom side Camps1 played extremely well to earn themselves a draw against Steve Atkins experienced Bayview team.  George Smith played well to win the opening frame before Angus Mackay leveled the match at 1-1 for Bayview.  Some good potting from Camps1 captain Suzanne Carter helped her side take a 2-1 lead after defeating Bayview captain Atkins.  The Lybster side done well to get themselves back into the match, winning two of the next three frames to level it a 3-3.  George Smith and Ciaran Duffy won the next two frames to guarantee the Camps side a thouroughly deserved draw.  Smith and Mackay got their first total clearances of the season in this match. 
League Leaders Commercial got off to a great start in their match against defending champions Camps2, taking the opening two frames.  Martin Hill and Alec Thomson played great to level the match at 2-2 before the Comm took the lead once again at 3-2.  Hill and Thomson produced some outstanding pool as the Camps side won five frames in a row to clinch an important three points.
The Mountain Dew pool team put up an almighty fight against Queens2 on Monday night but narrowly missed out on snatching a draw in the final frame.  They had fought their way from 5-1 down to trail by only one frame at 5-4.  Tam Sutherland won the last frame to earn the three points for Queens2.
After their marvelous 6-4 win over Camps2 last week, Sinclair Bay kept up their momentum thanks to another 6-4 win, this time against Queens1.  Jim Bain got the Queens side off to a great start, however the Keiss side won five frames in a row to lead 5-1.  Michael Pilkington won his first singles game for Queens1 as he helped his side battle back to 5-3.  The experienced Milky Ronaldson defeated Andrew Coghill in the next frame to secure the three points for Sinclair Bay.
