Graham Harper's Francis Street Club side have made it to Wick & District Pool League's Rockwater Shield Final in their debut season.  A fantastic team performance helped them ease past first division side Commercial 12-4 on aggregate.  After their 6-2 first leg win, the club side required only three frames and were in no mood for messing about as they quickly booked their place in the final.  Fine performances from Ricky Hernandez and Danny Innes helped them take a 2-0 lead, before captain Graham Harper won the all important frame.
The other semi final was a much closer affair as Camps2 hosted Crown1, as the away side looked to turn around a 6-4 deficit from the first leg.  Colin Banks got the Crown side off to a great start thanks to a wonderful finish in the opening frame, but the teams would be level at 3-3 after the singles.  After two extremely long doubles games, it was the Crown who took a 5-3 lead meaning a win in the next frame would see them clinch a cup final place.  Ian Mcdonald pulled one back for Camps2, which meant they could win the tie in the next frame or Crown1 could take the match to a one frame play-off.  Ryan Carter held his nerve well to knock in a 7-ball clearance to secure his Camps side a place in the cup final.  The 2014 Rockwater Shield Final will be contested between the Francis Street Club and Camps2 at a neutral venue.
