The Seaforth Club and Francis Street Club1 secured their first 2 points
of the season, both with 6-5 victories. Seaforth Club hosted their
rivals from the second division last year, The Queens. In a keenly
contested affair both teams could not be separated after the singles as
it stood at 3-3. Influentual performances from Gary Macalpine and team
captain Craig Durrand were the key factors in Seaforth Club's win.
A fine performance from Graham Harper helped his FSC1 side to victory in a close battle with Crown1.
Camps2 remain undefeated after a narrow 6-5 win over their rivals Camps1. The 5 time division one champions trailed 4-3 at one stage, but won three frames on the trot to clinch the 2 points. Performance of the night was Iain Jones' total clearance from the break.
Perry Campbell's Blackstairs1 side got their title challenge back on track with a fantastic 9-2 win over The Commercial.
After an impressive 8-3 win last Wednesday, Ryan Cook's Blackstairs2 team dropped their first match of the season, losing 6-5 to Bayview1 in a close match.
