This season all 14 teams will compete in one division.  Each team will play each other once (13 game weeks) & then the league will split into two divisions of 7 teams.  The top 7 teams will play each other one more time (6 more game weeks) as they battle it out for the first division title.  The bottom 7 teams will do the same as they compete for the second division title.  If there are more than 14 teams in next year’s league then divisions will be determined by where you placed this season.  For example, the top 7 teams this year will be guaranteed first division pool next season.

Wick & District Pool League has taken major steps forward this year by finally playing under one complete set of rules (World Blackball Rules) and also in the process of joining the Scottish Pool Association.  Joining the SPA will mean our players will be eligible to play in many big events throughout Scotland & have the option to play in team events.  We would like to send a team off to one of these events in the near future so ask anyone interested in representing a Wick & District Pool Team to get in contact.  At this point, we are just taking names to see how much interest there is.  A decision on team selection would then be done at a later date.  If you are interested call/text Ryan Carter on 07743555705 with your name, your team & a contact number.

It was agreed at our AGM that if anyone has any complaints about players/teams then this must be done in writing from now on.  Complaints should be sent to either the League Secretary Ryan Carter or the Chairman Bruce Honeyman.
Fixtures for the last 6 games of the season will be sent out to all pubs/clubs shortly after game week 13.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact the league secretary on the number above.
