George Zindilis' Commercial side suffered their first defeat of the season on Monday night as they came up against a determined Crown1 team in week six of the Wick & District Pool League.  The Lybster side have played some great pool this year, but couldnt stop Alan Larnach's Crown side from taking all three points.  Steve Atkin's Bayview1 team remain top of division one as they earned a hard fought 7-5 victory away to Sinclair Bay.  Camps2 move up to second place after an impressive team performance helped them defeat the Seaforth Club 10-2.  Bruce Honeyman and Ryan Carter won all three of their games for Camps2 and Martin Hill knocked in an 8 ball clearance in his doubles game.  An entertaining match in the Queens Hotel ended in a 8-4 win for away side Blackstairs.  Ryan Cook's team put in an impressive display of pool, winning all six of their doubles frames to secure the points that see them sit in fifth place.
Retro1 continue to dominate in division two, and are now eight points clear at the top of the table.  They defeated bottom side Bayview2 11-1 in one-sided affair.  Francis Street Club move up to fourth in division two, as great performances from Graham Harper and Michael Mackay helped them to an 8-4 home win against Mountain Dew.  Andy Cormack's Harpers side continue to play well and notched up another three points thanks to a 7-5 away win against Crown2.  Retro two recovered from a 4-1 deficit to come back and snatch a draw against Camps1.  The highlight of the match was Mark Alexander's fantastic total clearance in the opening frame.
