Camps2 completed the league and cup double for the third season in a row thanks to a 6-4 win over Bayview1 in the Rockwater Shield Final.
James Riach, Andy Mcwatt and Ryan Carter all got the better of their opponents to see Camps2 take a 3-0 lead, with Riach completing a total clearance in the opening frame.  It looked as though the Camps side were cruising to victory, but the Lybster team were not going to give up without a fight.  Some exceptional pool was played as Bayview1 fought their way back into it to draw level at 3-3.  The next two frames saw Camps2 stretch their lead to 5-3 with 7 ball clearances from Riach and Carter.  Bayview1's great tactical play brought them back to within one frame, but Riach rolled the black ball into the corner pocket to clinch a 6-4 win for Camps2.
This win see's Camps2 crowned Rockwater Shield winners for the sixth time.
The captians cup tournament will be played in the Camps Bar on Saturday 21st April with a 12pm start time.  Players are reminded to be in the bar by 11.30am.  Teams may enter up to two players and are advised to submit entries as soon as possible by contacting the league secretary on 07743555705.
