Bayview1 and Camps2 will meet in the Rockwater Shield Final on 9th of April after both teams secured impressive wins in their semi finals matches. Blackstairs2 looked to fight back from a 6-2 first leg defeat to Camps2 but didnt get off to the start they were hoping for. Andy Mcwatt and James Riach got the better of their opponents to take a 2-0 for defending champions Camps2. Alex Rosie played some great pool in the next frame but his one mistake lead to Ryan Carter clearing the table to officially secure a place in the final for the Camps side. Kevin Bartlett and Keith Budge were on form for Blackstairs2 as they helped get their side 2 frames on the board, but Camps2 finished off the match with another 6-2 victory.
Bayview1 got off to a great start against Camps1 as Steve Atkins helped his team take a 3-0 lead. Camps1 got themselves back into contention as they took a 4-3 lead thanks to some great pool played by Shane Honeyman, Kenny Park and Suzanne Carter. A determined Bayview side then secured their place in the final by winning the next three frames.
