Camps2 made it four wins out of four thanks to an impressive 8-2 win over Blackstairs2 on Monday night in week four of the Wick & District Summer Pool League. Ryan Cook played well as his Blackstairs side took a 1-0 lead but went 2-1 down after wins from Andy Mcwatt and Bruce Honeyman. Camps2 captain Ryan Carter broke off in the fourth frame and cleared the table to give the Camps side a 3-1 lead. The league leaders then took both doubles frames before Martin Hill defeated Alex Rosie to clinch the three points for Camps2.
Queens players Keith Bremner and Jim Bain helped their side produce an excellent comeback to grab a 5-5 against Bayview to secure their first point of the season. Ted Gunn was impressive again this week winning both his singles frames to give Bayview a 5-3 lead. James Dow and Jim Bain won the last two frames to earn a well deserved draw.
Greg Simpson won all of his games to help his Sinclair Bay side win 6-4 against The Commercial to win their first match of the season.
