Camps2 go top of the table thanks to a 9-1 derby win over Camps1 in week two of the Wick & District Summer Pool League. Bruce Honeyman and Ryan Carter maintained their 100% singles record as their side cruised to victory. George Smith defeated Martin Hill to get a consolation frame for Camps1. Blackstairs1 traveled out to Keiss to face Sinclair Bay in what turned out to be a highly entertaining match. Tam Sutherland, Hamish New and Stuart Mckenzie helped the Blackstairs side take a 3-0 lead in the early stages, but Greg Thompson pulled one back for Sinclair Bay. Blackstairs1 then stretched their lead to 5-2, needing only one more frame for the three points. Greg Simpson's Sinclair Bay team then produce an excellent comeback to grab a point with the match ending in a 5-5 draw. Bayview recovered well after last weeks 8-2 loss to Camps2, by defeating George Zindilis' Commercial side 9-1. Blackstairs2 got their first 3 points of the season with an impressive 8-2 victory over The Queens.
