Ryan Cook's Blackstairs2 handed Camps2 their first defeat of the season, with a well deserved 6-5 win.
The match looked to be going in Camps2 favour as they quickly took a 3-0 lead, but great clearances from Trevor Banks and Gordie Steven saw Blackstairs2 get back into the match at 3-2.  Ian Mcdonald temporarily halted the Blackstairs comeback by beating Keith Budge to make it 4-2 to the Camps.  Blacktairs2 then dominated play winning 4 of the next five frames, which saw Alex Rosie pot the match winning black with a fantastic double.
Bayview1 are now only two points behind the league leaders after defeating the Francis Street Club1 7-4.
George Smith's recent form continued this week, as he helped lift his Camps1 side off the foot of the table with a 7-4 win over Queens.
Crown1 and Commercial both recorded 7-4 wins over Blackstairs1 and Seaforth Club respectively.
Next Monday see's the Rockwater Shield Quarter Final 2nd legs take place.  The pick of the ties is the Lybster derby where Bayview1 will look to bounce back from a 6-4 1st leg loss against Commercial.
