Bayview1 have overtaken their Lybster rivals Commercial at the top of Wick & District Pool League's division one.  Steve Atkins Bayview side took revenge on Blackstairs, who had knocked them out of the cup, in an impressive 8-4 win.  A four and a half hour marathon match between Commercial and Camps2 ended in a 6-6 draw in the early hours of Tuesday morning.  The Lybster team had a 6-3 lead but couldn't secure the three points as the Camps side battled back to win a point.  Craig Durrand's Seaforth Club had a welcome return to form as they chalked up their first points of the season with an 8-4 victory over the Queens.  Nathan Lightley was the star player for the club side, winning all three of his games thanks to some excellent finishing. Crown1 got back to winning ways on Monday night as they defeated Sinclair Bay 7-5.  Gavin Simpson had an 8ball clearance for Keiss but it wasnt enough to stop the Crown lads from taking all three points.  Retro1 have stretched their lead at the top of division two to five points after an outstanding team performance saw them defeat second place side Crown2 11-1.  Tam Sutherland's total clearance was the highlight of this one-sided match.  Retro2 continue to play impressively in their debut season and climb to fourth place thanks to a 9-3 win over the Mountain Dew.  Andy Cormack's Harper's side move up to third place in division two after a hard fought 7-5 win against the Francis Street Club.
