Here are the teams who make up divisions 1 & 2.
Division 1:
Camps2
Bayview1
Crown1
Blackstairs
Seaforth Club.
Commercial
Queens
Sinclair Bay
Division 2:
Camps1
Harpers
Crown2
Mountain Dew
Bayview2
Retro1
Retro2
Francis St Club.
The draw for the Rockwater Shield will take place in the Camps Bar at 8pm next Monday night.
The match format has been changed to 6 singles & 6 doubles. There will no longer be trebles frames. The last three games of doubles will see you play against a different pair than you did in the first three. With 12 frames being played in total, there is the possibility of a 6-6 draw. Teams get 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. All 12 frames must be played in league games as positions and titles could be decided on frame difference.
All 12 frames are NOT to be played in Rockwater Shield matches. In all legs of the cup ties you must stop play once one team reaches 6 frames. If after two legs the match is tied, then one frame of 6 versus 6 will decide the outcome.
The 2014 Captains Cup will be held in The Retro Bar.
We are hoping to start the season on the 14th of October. Info packs & fixtures will be handed out to all bars in the next week or 2.
We would like to welcome three new teams to the Wick & District Pool League (Retro 1 & 2 and The Francis Street Club). Best of luck to all teams for the forthcoming season.
