An eventful week in the Wick & District Pool League saw four players record total clearances, three of them in the Crown1 v Camps2 match.
Crown1 got off to a great start, taking a 2-1 lead with wins from Colin Banks and Bruce Davidson.  Camps2 then leveled the match at 2-2, before Willie Little completed an excellent total clearance to put the Crown side back in the lead.  Camps2 knew they had to up their game if they wanted to continue their unbeaten streak, and thats exactly what they did.  With the match tied at 3-3, James Riach and Ryan Carter recorded back to back total clearances to give the Camps side a 5-3 lead.  The league leaders then won the remaining 3 frames to score an 8-3 victory.
Blackstairs2 climb to third in the league after an impressive 8-3 win over Commercial.  The highlight of the match being Alan Forbes' total clearance.
Camps1 remain bottom of division one after going down 7-4 to the Seaforth Club.  Wins from George Smith, Liam More, Andrew Macleod and Kenny Park resulted in Camps1 taking a 4-2 lead after the singles.  Seaforth Club then won 5 frames in a row to take the two points.
Bayview1 remain in second place as they battled from 3-1 down to win 7-4 win against Blackstairs1.
Queens fought back from 4-0 down to 4-4 against The Francis Street Club1, but it wasnt to be as FSC1 closed out the match 6-5 winners.
