Semi Final Line-Up Decided

Camps Bar "1" recorded an impressive 7-3 victory over defending champions Queens Hotel on Monday night to qualify for the semi final stage and finish in second place in the league. Dave Mcgillivray and Mark Alexander were the star players for Camps "1", winning both their singles aswell as an excellent 8-ball clearance for McGillivray. The Queens side finished their league season in fourth place but still qualify for next week's semi finals where they will face top side Camps Bar "2". Retro "1" also booked their place in the semi's after a hard fought 6-4 victory over the Mountain Dew. With the match tied at 4-4, the Retro side played well to clinch the three points with James Ross winning the all important frame. They will now go head to head with Camps Bar "1" in the other semi final. Camps Bar "2" finish their league campaign at the top of the table with an undefeated record. Ryan Carter's side came back from 5-3 down to earn a draw against a tough Sinclair Bay team.

Camps "2" First To Qualify

Camps Bar "2" are the first team to qualify for the Wick & District Summer Pool League semi final play-off stage after defeating defending champions Queens Hotel on Monday night. The 2012 champions got the better of the current holders in a match where both sets of players played some outstanding pool. Some nice clearances from Camps "2" helped them take a 3-1 lead, before great teamwork won the Queens side the two doubles games to level the match at 3-3. The Camps team took the lead again...

Camps Bar "2" Go Top

Ryan Carter's Camps Bar "2" side have moved to the top of the Wick & District Summer Pool League, after winning 6-4 in their top of the table clash against Retro "1". George Smith and Andrew Edwards helped their Retro team take a 2-0 lead, but the Camps side won four in a row to go 4-2 up. Bobby Gunn's Retro1 side remain undefeated and sit top of the Wick & District Summer Pool League after an impressive 6-4 victory over current holders Queens Hotel. Gunn Shoots Retro "1" To Victory

Retro "1" remain undefeated in the 2014 Wick & District Summer Pool League after sealing a 7-3 win against the Francis Street Club on Monday Night. Suzanne Carter's Camps Bar "1" side defeated the Francis Street Club 8-2 on Monday night to go top of the Wick & District Summer Pool League. Queens & Camps Teams Off To Winning Start

The Queens Hotel got their Wick & District Summer Pool League title defense off to a great start on Monday night thanks to an 8-2 away win against the Mountain Dew. Perry Campbell's side raced into a 6-0 lead to secure all three points in their opening match of the 2014 season. Summer Pool League Info

Nine teams will compete for 2014 Wick & District Summer Pool League in a league format, with the top four teams qualifying for the semi final play-offs. All league games are 10 frames (4 singles, 2 doubles, and 4 more singles) and you get 3 points for a win & 1 point for a 5-5 draw.
There will be a player of the season award at the end of the season, so if your team wants their players to be in the running for this you MUST hand in your score card to the Camps Bar by 1pm on the Tuesday. Alte...

Camps Bar "2" vs Francis St Club
Sinclair Bay Hotel vs Retro "1"
Retro "2" vs Camps Bar "1"
Free Week = The Commercial

All 9 teams will play each other once (each team has 4 homes & 4 aways) and then the teams who finish in the top 4 will progress to the semi final play-offs.

League games are the same as last year (10 frames. 4 singles, 2 doubles, 4 singles). 1 point for a draw and 3 points for the win.
