Seaforth Club player George Smith won event 2 of The Camps Bar Challenge Shield last Saturday. Smith beat Des Mcleod 2-1 in the Quarters and Andy Smith 3-2 in the semi's to book his place in the final. Ryan Carter faced his team mate Bruce Honeyman in the last 16, and after a very close match it was Carter who progressed to the quarter finals. Carter was then knocked out by Crown2 player Andy Smith. The other side of the draw saw Camps1 player Garry Thorburn cruise through to the final after wins over Suzanne Carter and Donald Manson. George Smith then defeated Thorburn 4-0 in the final.
Event 3 will be held on Sunday 24th of February
