High Standard In Event 3

An extremely high standard of pool was played in event 3 of The Camps Bar Pool Challenge on Saturday, which saw Camps2 player Ryan Carter defeat Blackstairs1 player Alan Stewart (Pie) 3-2 in closely contested final.  Stewart was in fine form all day, comfortably defeating Suzanne Carter in the first round before a close contest with Iain Jones in the Quarters, narrowly defeating him 2-1.  Stewart battled well in the semi's against Charlie Ablett, evetually grabbing a 3-2 win to book himself a...

Carter Wins Event 2

Camps Bar Pool Challenge Event 2 was won by Camps2 player Ryan Carter. Carter defeated Event 1 winner Bruce Honeyman 3-1 in the Quarter Finals, and then went on to beat Andrew Mcleod (Speedy Co) 3-2 in an extremely close match in the Semi's. The other half of the draw saw young Shane Honeyman defeat Alan Stewart (Pie) 3-2 after coming back from 2-0 down. Shane then defeated his Grandad Des Mcleod 3-1 in the Semi's.
