Big Comebacks End In Disappointment

Camps1 and The Commercial both completed excellent comebacks in their Rockwater Shield quarter final second leg ties, but would miss out on a semi final place after losing out in a one frame decider.  Good performances from Rian MacGregor, Darren Miller and Robbie Powell helped Camps defeat Bayview1 6-3 to tie the match at 9-9 on aggregate. Retro1 Defeat Bayview1 & Remain Undefeated

Retro1 put in the performance of the night to defeat Bayview1 7-5 in week 9 of the 2014\15 Wick & District Pool League season. In their debut season in division one, Retro1 remain undefeated and sit in third place in the league.  Bayview1 took an early 2-0 lead through wins from Angus Mackay and TeddGunn, but fine play from Alan Steven helped pull one back for Retro.  The Lybster side would then take a 5-3 lead, but some excellent teamwork from Retro saw them win the last four frames to win t...

Hill Stars In Cup Win For Crown1

Martin Hill's fantastic performance on Monday night helped play a big part as his Crown1 side earned a 6-2 first leg victory over Blackstairs Lounge.  The Crown side look to be big favourites to progress, requiring just three frames in the next leg to make it through to the Rockwater Shield semi finals.  Hill made an outstanding 8-ball clearance in his singles, and would seal victory for his team with a 6-ball finish in his doubles game.  Steve Atkins Bayview1 side faced a tough test in their...

Crown & Bayview Battle To 6-6 Draw
