3 In A Row For Camps Bar Duo

Camps Bar "2" players Ryan Carter and Bruce Honeyman have won the Bfest Annual Pairs Championship for the third year in a row.  The Blackstairs Lounge hosted the weekend event, where teams had to qualify from the group stages to make it through to the semi finals on the Sunday.  In group A it was Hamish New and Darren Goodwill who would combine well to top their group and qualify in top spot.  Colin Banks and Alan Stewart, who were representing the Crown Bar, played extremely well on the Satu...

Ryan Cook Wins Captains Cup

Blackstairs Lounge player Ryan Cook won his first ever Captains Cup title on Saturday after defeating four time champion Ryan Carter 6-4 in an outstanding final.  Wick & District Pool Leagues premier singles event was hosted by the Francis St Club, where the top players from the league battled it out in the 33rd annual installment of the Captains Cup.  The top half of the draw looked extremely tough on paper, with three former champions in Carter, Arthur Bruce and Martin Hill.  The upset of t...

Now taking entries.  Each team may enter 2 players.  There will also be a reserve list, but teams will be limited to a Max of 4 players.  No more entries will be taken after 11pm on Friday night.
