The Francis Street Club hosted the 3rd Annual Bfest Pairs Championships this past weekend, with players from both divisions battling it out for the last title of the Wick & District Pool League season.

The 2nd annual Summer Pool League (Sponsored By The Commercial Hotel) will be starting in June. Pubs/Clubs have until the 31st of May to enter their teams. Fixtures will then be handed out to all participating pubs/club in early June with the first round of matches starting mid June. Teams will consist of 4 players and each team will play each other once. The top 4 teams will then advance to the semi finals. The Sinclair Bay Hotel hosted the 2013 Captain's Cup tournament this past Saturday in what turned out to be an exciting tournament with some great pool played by all participants. The star of the opening rounds was Sinclair Bay's Milky Ronaldson, who knocked out two former Captains Cup winners on his way to booking a semi final spot. He defeated Crown1 player Colin Banks 3-1 before beating Martin Hill in the quarter finals by the same scoreline. Greg Thomson was impressive early in the day...

The 3rd Annual B-fest Pairs Championships will be held in the Francis Street Club on the 18th/19th of May. Entry fee is £10 per pair, and your partner must play for the same league team as you. Each team may enter up to 3 pairs.
3 tables will be used on the Saturday for the group stages (12pm start) with the Semi's and Final being played on the Sunday. You can enter for this by calling/texting me on 07450993155.

The 2013 Captains Cup will start at 12pm sharp tomorrow in the Sinclair Bay Hotel. No names will be taken after 11.30am. You MUST enter your name before then to get your place in the tournament. Each team may enter 2 players + any other players who will be put onto the reserve list. It will be capped at 32 players & the first round will be best of 3.
