Sinclair Bay, Bayview, Camps2 and Queens2 have all secured their places in the Wick & District Summer Pool League semi final play-offs . Steve Atkins Bayview side won the Lybster derby match 7-3 against their rivals Commercial and occupy second place in the league table. Queens2 player Alan Stewart was the star player in their match against the Francis Street Club on Monday night, helping them to an impressive 10-0 win. Stewart left both of his singles opponents with 7 balls on the table in a fantastic showing of 8-ball pool.The other Queens side also recorded a big win, as they defeated Camps1 9-1. Queens1 handed Bayview their first defeat of the Summer Pool League season on Monday Night after a great team performance helped them to a 6-4 win. The Lybster side took an early 3-0 lead before Andrew Coghill's fine play pulled one back for the Queens. Strong performances in their doubles saw the Queens side draw level at 3-3, before Angus Mackay put Bayview back in front at 4-3. Lybster sides Bayview & The Commercial dropped their first points of the season on Monday night in the Wick & District Summer Pool League. Bottom side Camps1 played extremely well to earn themselves a draw against Steve Atkins experienced Bayview team. George Smith played well to win the opening frame before Angus Mackay leveled the match at 1-1 for Bayview.
