Camps2 are now six points clear at the top of Wick & District Pool Leagues Division One. The five time champions were given a helping hand by Ryan Cook's Blackstairs2 side, who defeated Bayview1 7-4 in an impressive win. With only four matches remaining in the league, it looks highly unlikely that either Bayview1 or Crown1 will catch them. Bayview1 took back second place in Wick & District Pool League's Division One after a final frame decider against Crown1 in a tense match. Crown1 got off to a good start with Stevie Wyllie beating Steve Atkins in the opening frame. Bayview1 pulled it back to 1-1 thanks to a great 8 ball clearance from Alistair Young. Bayview1 & Camps2 are on course to meet in the final of Wick & District Pool League's Rockwater Shield after they got the better of their opponents in the 1st legs of the semi finals.
Bayview1 were impressive in a 6-3 win over Camps1. Steve Atkins and Alistair Young continued their great form by leaving their opponents with 7 balls on the table in their doubles match. Defending champions Camps2 stretched their lead at the top of the table to four points, after a convincing 9-2 win over Bayview1. James Riach got the Camps2 side off to a great start with a total clearance from the break, however Bayview hit back with a total clearance of their own from Alistair Young.
